About

carrepaircompass.com/ helps you make decisions about a car: which shop to use, whether to buy a particular used car, and what the tech on your car really does. We lay out the trade-offs and link to the sources.

Our rule: if we can’t link a source for a fact, it doesn’t go on the page.

Who supports this site

This site carries clearly labeled advertising from HB Auto & AC, an independent repair shop at 7332 Autopark Dr, Huntington Beach, CA 92648 ((714) 848-1224). Advertising does not change our sourcing standard.
